Job Description:

As a Warehouse Assistant at Quartermaster Inspector, you play a crucial role in our company. You ensure efficient inventory management and contribute to a positive experience for customers visiting our warehouse or exhibition stand.

Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment: Carefully collect, pack, and ship customer and dealer orders, ensuring the quality and authenticity of both replica and original material.
• Customer Assistance: Welcome customers to our warehouse, advise them on both replicas and original items, and assist with their purchases.
• Stock Management: Receive and inspect deliveries, organize and store inventory in the warehouse.
• Preparing for Exhibitions and Rentals: Prepare materials, including original items, for exhibitions, events, rentals, and film projects. This includes careful packing and making items ready for transport.
• Post-Event and Filming Duties: Carefully return and inspect both replica and original materials after events or film shoots.
• Future Opportunities: In the future, you may have the opportunity to assist on film sets, adding an extra dynamic aspect to this role.

Requirements:

• A strong interest in military history, specifically World War II.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
• Good communication skills and customer focus.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavier goods.
• Flexibility.
• Availability: Willingness to work three weekends a year, specifically in October, December, and April, due to important events.
• Attention to detail and an organized work approach.
• Language Skills: A good command of English is required. Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus, as you will regularly interact with international customers.

Functieomschrijving:

Als magazijnier bij Quartermaster Inspector speel je een cruciale rol binnen ons bedrijf. Je zorgt voor een efficiënte goederenstroom en draagt bij aan een positieve ervaring voor klanten die ons magazijn of beursstand bezoeken.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

• Bestellingen klaarmaken: Zorgvuldig verzamelen, verpakken en verzenden van klantenbestellingen en handelaars, met oog voor de kwaliteit en authenticiteit van zowel replica als origineel materiaal.
• Klanten ontvangen en helpen bij verkoop: Klanten verwelkomen in ons magazijn, hen adviseren over zowel replica’s als originele items, en assisteren bij hun aankopen.
• Wegzetten van stock: Ontvangen en controleren van leveringen, organiseren en op de juiste plaats zetten van voorraad in het magazijn.
• Beurzen en verhuur voorbereiden: Voorbereiden van materiaal, inclusief originele stukken, voor beurzen, evenementen, verhuur en filmprojecten. Dit omvat het zorgvuldig verpakken en transportklaar maken van items.
• Na beurzen en filmopnames: Zorgvuldig terugplaatsen en controleren van zowel replica als originele materialen na evenementen of filmopnames.
• Toekomstmogelijkheden: In de toekomst is het mogelijk dat je zelf op filmsets mag meehelpen, wat deze functie extra dynamisch maakt.

Wij vragen:

• Een sterke interesse in militaire geschiedenis, specifiek de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
• Ervaring in een magazijnomgeving is een pluspunt.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en klantgerichtheid.
• Fysiek in staat om zwaardere goederen te tillen en te verplaatsen.
• Flexibiliteit.
• Beschikbaarheid: Bereidheid om drie weekenden per jaar te werken, specifiek in oktober, december en april, vanwege belangrijke evenementen.
• Oog voor detail en een georganiseerde werkhouding.
• Taalvaardigheid: Een goede beheersing van Engels is een vereiste. Kennis van het Nederlands of Frans is een mooie bijkomstigheid, aangezien je regelmatig in aanraking komt met internationale klanten.

Description du poste :

En tant que magasinier chez Quartermaster Inspector, vous jouez un rôle crucial au sein de notre entreprise. Vous assurez un flux de marchandises efficace et contribuez à une expérience positive pour les clients qui visitent notre entrepôt ou notre stand lors de foires.

Tâches et responsabilités :

• Préparation des commandes : Rassembler, emballer et expédier soigneusement les commandes des clients et des commerçants, en veillant à la qualité et à l'authenticité du matériel, qu'il s'agisse de répliques ou de pièces originales.
• Accueil et assistance à la vente : Accueillir les clients dans notre entrepôt, les conseiller sur les répliques et les articles originaux, et les assister dans leurs achats.
• Gestion des stocks : Réceptionner et vérifier les livraisons, organiser et ranger les stocks à l'endroit approprié dans l'entrepôt.
• Préparation pour les foires et la location : Préparer le matériel, y compris les pièces originales, pour les foires, événements, locations et projets cinématographiques. Cela inclut l'emballage soigneux et la préparation au transport des articles.
• Après les foires et tournages : Remettre en place et vérifier soigneusement les matériaux, qu'ils soient répliques ou originaux, après les événements ou les tournages.
• Possibilités futures : À l'avenir, vous pourriez avoir l'opportunité de participer directement aux tournages, ce qui rend cette fonction encore plus dynamique.

Nous recherchons :

• Un fort intérêt pour l'histoire militaire, en particulier la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
