Our assortment includes uniforms, tents, equipment, and other historical items, both new and original, used by collectors, museums, reenactments, and film productions. In addition to sales, we are actively involved in renting these materials for major film projects worldwide. Job Description:
As a Warehouse Assistant at Quartermaster Inspector, you play a crucial role in our company. You ensure efficient inventory management and contribute to a positive experience for customers visiting our warehouse or exhibition stand.
Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Carefully collect, pack, and ship customer and dealer orders, ensuring the quality and authenticity of both replica and original material.
- Customer Assistance: Welcome customers to our warehouse, advise them on both replicas and original items, and assist with their purchases.
- Stock Management: Receive and inspect deliveries, organize and store inventory in the warehouse.
- Preparing for Exhibitions and Rentals: Prepare materials, including original items, for exhibitions, events, rentals, and film projects. This includes careful packing and making items ready for transport.
- Post-Event and Filming Duties: Carefully return and inspect both replica and original materials after events or film shoots.
- Future Opportunities: In the future, you may have the opportunity to assist on film sets, adding an extra dynamic aspect to this role.
Requirements:
- A strong interest in military history, specifically World War II.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Good communication skills and customer focus.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavier goods.
- Flexibility.
- Availability: Willingness to work three weekends a year, specifically in October, December, and April, due to important events.
- Attention to detail and an organized work approach.
- Language Skills: A good command of English is required. Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus, as you will regularly interact with international customers.
