The LARGE WALL Tent will normally be used either as an Officer’s Mess or as an Office in Battalion and higher Headquarters when so authorized. It may however, also be used for storage of supplies or quartering of personnel. In the latter case, the Large Wall Tent has a capacity for EIGHT men without a stove, or SIX men with a stove installed. The normal capacity, when used for mess purposes, is of 20 to 22 individuals, depending on whether tables of 8 ½ or 10 feet long are used. When equipped with folding camp tables for office purposes, the tent has a capacity of approximately 12 men. It is an A-type, square-end tent, of rectangular shape.
