By far the best reproduction of the M43 jacket that I've ever seen. The cotton sateen is absolutely stunning. I own a couple of original jackets, so I know what a real one looks like. This is beyond my expectation. Chapeau! A well deserved compliment! (Posted on 11/6/2024)

This Field Jacket's construction and material are both Outstanding. Heavy cotton, with authentic buttons and all.
To Note: The sizing is as your actual size, not (from what I understand) true to the Original Specifications of your size plus six. So if your order a size 48, then you will receive a size 48, not a size 54. The original design was to have the Field Jacket extra big for layering and free movement in combat and maneuvers. So if you want a more traditional 'as issued' look, you may want to go up two or so sizes....
However, this Field Jacket is just absolutely fabulous. I am really enjoying it, and it is incredibly well made. It looks just smashing, if I may so say myself. I'm about a size 46, and I ordered a 48. It's perfect for a more modern tailored look, but it's still a little bit on the baggy side, which I really love.
