After spending an age on the internet researching the A2 jacket and trying to find one at a suitable price and size for everyday use, I bought one of these.
I can vouch for the excellent quality of the leather. It's nice and supple and has quite a few of the correct details of an A2. Fit is close as you would expect from an A2. Smells lovely too ! (Posté le 04/10/2016)

Outstanding Value Review by Lee

After receiving the cowhide A-2, I am surprised there are no other reviews about this jacket.

I have owned A-2 replicas from quite a few manufacturers over the years, and must say that QMI's rates up there with some of the best.

The cowhide is thick, yet supple, and should break-in well over time. The stitching is very well done, and overall, the jacket is of excellent quality for the money. The pattern is authentic to the period. Using the sizing chart, I chose my normal size 44, and the jacket fits like I imagine an AAF issued A-2 from the 1940's would. The armholes are high, and there is NO bagginess like in more modern cuts.

A single word to describe this A-2 is "Outstanding!" If you are on the fence about purchasing one, just do it! There was an issue in shipping that was professionally taken care of by QMI staff, and Peter, the company owner. I will be purchasing one of the A-2's from QMI in Horsehide VERY soon. The QMI A2 Flight Jacket (cow leather) is a very nice and high quality alternetive to the very expensive A2's you find everywhere. It looks good and it feels good!
